MAKING A BOOKING. A provisional booking date may be made by email/telephone and will be held for 5 working days pending receipt of a written confirmation and full deposit or payment as appropriate. Only the persons named on the booking form are permitted to stay in the house. Florida State Law prohibits subletting, sharing or assigning. Any persons not shown on the booking form will be asked to leave by our agents. CONFIRMATION. At the time of confirmation, an account will be issued showing the balance due. This is payable 8 weeks prior to the date of departure. Bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival are payable in full at the time of booking. Full details on our house will be sent out after full payment is received. LATE PAYMENT. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date. CANCELLATION CHARGES. The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed. Cancellation must be made in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply: 1. More than 8 weeks before arrival date Deposit forfeited BOOKING DEPOSIT A Booking Deposit of £100 (US$170) per week is required with the booking. Confirmation will normally be made within 7 days of receipt of deposit. Once the booking is confirmed, the deposit will be non-refundable but will be deducted from the full rental amount due. SECURITY DEPOSIT. A refundable security deposit of £100 (US$150) per booking will be collected together with the final balance to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the vacation home. In addition you may be held responsible for any damage or loss sustained during your period of reservation in excess of this sum. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE. The rental commences at 4.00pm on the day of your arrival and ceases at 11.00am on the day of departure. The property will be cleaned before your arrival and again on your departure. Failure to vacate may render you liable to incur additional rental charges. A telephone is available for your use in the house, with local calls being free of charge, but you will need a credit card, and/or purchase a calling card, for long distance or international calls. FORCE MAJEURE. The owner's or owner's agent cannot accept, be responsible for or be liable in respect of loss, damage or changes caused by force majeure (eg strikes, floods, closure of airports, weather conditions or other events beyond our control). In the unlikely event of a complaint during your stay, please contact the management company immediately. Should any problem arise while you are there, we would appreciate being advised by you immediately and upon your return in order that we can follow this up with the management company. LIABILITY. The owner's or owner's agent do not accept any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal effects however caused. We specifically request guests to supervise children whilst using the pool. POOL HEATING. Pool heating should be requested at the time of booking (recommended November-March). There is an additional charge and this must be paid for within the final balance. In the event pool heating is requested and paid for, the owners cannot guarantee the temperature of the pool as this will vary according to different factors, predominantly the weather conditions at the time. The owner or owner's agent will not be held responsible for any electrical or mechanical failure of pool heating equipment. INVENTORY ITEMS. No inventory item must be removed from the house. Any breakages or damages must be reported to the Management Company immediately. INSURANCE. Clients are recommended to take out adequate holiday insurance to cover eventualities such as cancellation, accident, sickness and damage. NO SMOKING/NO PETS POLICY. Please note that the owners do not allow smoking within the home. No pets or animals are permitted inside the house or grounds. LAKE AND JETTY. The Owner cannot accept any liability for your personal
safety if using the jetty and lake area. Guests are reminded to exercise
care as to the personal safety of themselves and all party members. |
